The Continuing Saga of Sean & Aidan - Bible stories

We had read several Bible stories to them at bedtime and I asked questions to gauge how much they understood. It went something like this...

Me: So, why did God send the flood? And why was Noah & his family the only ones saved?
Sean: Because Noah was good and the other people were bad. They were Decepticons!

(Oh blimey! He's got robots on his mind!)


Me: Why was Adam & Eve sent out of the garden of Eden?
Aidan: Mmmmm...because they ate the wrong plants!
He saw my expression and raised eyebrows...
Aidan: Ahhh....because they ate the trees in the fruits!
My eyebrows must've gone higher...
Aidan: Because they ate the fruits in the trees!
Finally...
Aidan: Because they didn't obey God, they ate the wrong fruit.
