Could it really be simple?
To live a life of contentment
It’s simply a choice
To obey Your Word
You said
My needs You’d bear
I could be without care
For the things of this world
If I simply choose to be happy
With what You provide
But “happy” has become what others have
That I should have too
So often, “more Lord” instead of “thank you”
When life with You could be immeasurably more
Than anything this world can offer
With rewards that are out of this world too
Dear Lord
Please help me each day
Find contentment, Your way
Leaving cares and worries to You
Simply living, happy to be with You
